The purpose of ORTSOC is to provide security services to smaller government, non-profit, or higher-education organizations that cannot support their own SOC. Our requirements are that an organization must have at least one IT professional at the organization: we cannot provide IT services or fixes for issues we encounter. Fees for services depend on the size of the organization. If you have questions about fees, please reach out to us for more information.
ORTSOC has chosen a consortium model for delivery of services to constituency organizations. All organizations are eligible to join the consortium and participate in information sharing, research, and innovation activities. Consortium members will have a common communication platform with other consortium members as well as current ORTSOC students and alumna. Members will receive regular threat intelligence bulletins and be invited to security job fairs with ORTSOC students.
Organizations must be Consortium members and meet eligibility requirements to receive services. ORTSOC's core services are Network Security Monitoring, Incident Analysis, and Incident Response Coordination.
Some ORTSOC services are provided as single engagements, including: Security Assessments, Forensics, and Penetration Testing. These engagements can be repeated as needed.
